Celentyx announces collaboration with
Schering-Plough
Celentyx, a
spin-out company from the Medical School at the University of
Birmingham, has confirmed its leadership in the field of
neuroimmunopharmacology. Former Medici Fellow Dr Nicholas Barnes,
founder and CEO of Celentyx, has announced that Schering-Plough has
signed an agreement to utilise Immuno-ProfilingTM to support
the R&D of novel drug targets.
Aston
revitalises CPD
Aston University Medici Fellow Julia Brown has been appointed as Business Development Manager for Aston University's School of Life and Health Sciences on the strength of her work into its Continuing Professional Development programme.

Reunited
In March 2006 a reuninion event was held for all past Medici fellows at
which a selection of previous fellows were invited to speak about their
activities and career paths since completing their fellowship.
Supporting and Shaping a Growing Business
Former Medici Fellow Jo Morgan received recognition for her work setting
up Faveo Ltd., which designs and makes a revolutionary new type of bra.
Jo’s company won the title of most innovative business of 2005 in the
handbag.com Barclays Business Plan Awards 2005.
Film-Maker Captures the Medici Experience
Paul Hough, a Medici Fellow from Nottingham Trent University, used part
of his Medici fellowship to create a high quality, professional film capturing
