Ahmad Lotfi

B.Eng., Control Engineering (1988, Isfahan University of Technology, Iran), M.Tech in Control Systems and Instrumentation (1992, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India), PhD in Learning Fuzzy Systems (1996, University of Queensland, Australia). I am a senior lecturer in School of Computing and Informatics, Nottingham Trent University. I have a comprehensive background in the supervision and teaching of undergraduate and research students and the development of research programs in theory and application of control systems. I have actively participated in dissemination of my research findings through participation in conferences and refereed publications.

I have always been interested in bringing some of my research into commercial exploitation. The Medici fellowship will provide a unique opportunity for working towards achieving my goals.
